I grew up getting the best of "both worlds": 

Learning to overcome the harsh realities of an impoverished and underserved community in "The Bronx"

As well as living in the suburban communities of "Upstate" New York; 

where I was able to benefit and nourish my mind through a strong educational foundation.

My struggles and faith, allowed me an opportunity to obtain my GED from a Higher Education Program at SUNY New Paltz. After earning one of the highest scores ever, I was awarded an opportunity to begin my undergraduate studies in the Fall of 1996. I graduated in the Spring of 2000 with Dual Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Social Work (BSW). My BSW helped me to enter into Graduate School at Yeshiva University. There, I earned my Masters of Social Work (MSW) in 2001.

Shortly after completion, I began my 25+ years in the Human Services field.

Receiving specialized training in the following areas:

Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, Psycho-Therapy, Virtual Therapy

I received certifications in Non-Profit Management, Personal Training, Massage Therapy, Suicide Risk/Prevention, LGBTQ Awareness, Diversity and Inclusion, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Sex-Trafficking Awareness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
